Easton Matthew’s first months were painful and dangerous. Diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome, his biological parents greatly neglected him, leaving him starving and covered in hair and filth. He was taken from them thanks to a nurse’s courage.

When foster parents Eric and LeAnne Stadler accepted Easton, they knew they were in for a difficult path. Easton’s body was weak, his head large and injured, and he couldn’t hold his head up or cry for help. Feeding him was a careful process requiring constant attention.

Despite his disabilities from traumatic brain injury, Easton’s caregivers worked tirelessly, supporting therapies and milestones like walking with braces. He battles challenges daily but shows his resilience and happiness in every smile. Now a permanent member of the Stadler family, Easton is a living example of love’s healing power.
