On the morning of April 6, 2025, a fiery crash on I-95 South in Georgia took the lives of Reagan Dougan and her four young children. The family was driving to visit Reagan’s husband, Christian, in Florida.

Reagan, 27, had rented an SUV for the trip from North Carolina. The vehicle collided with another car at speed, struck a guardrail, and burst into flames. All five family members died at the scene. The other driver survived and was treated in hospital.

The accident shocked neighbors and friends, who described Reagan as a devoted mother full of love and kindness. A GoFundMe page was started to assist with funeral and memorial costs.
The loss has deeply impacted the families and communities across state lines, reminding all of how fragile life can be.
