Chelsea Robinson thought a trip to the Dominican Republic for butt implants would be a dream come true. But it soon turned into a nightmare when an implant slipped out during a gym workout, forcing her to spend more than $85,000 fixing the damage.
Chelsea, 29, told ITV’s “Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection” about how she felt her leg tingle and then realized an implant was hanging out of place. This scary moment led to urgent surgery she says she wouldn’t have had if she’d known the risks.
Though this was a huge setback, Chelsea hasn’t stopped undergoing cosmetic procedures. Over ten years, she’s had four breast surgeries, spending close to $10,000 to reshape her chest. Competition in modeling pushed her to want bigger curves and more dramatic results. Her total spending on cosmetic work for over a decade is estimated at $135,000.
Looking back at old pictures, Chelsea got emotional, sharing how tempting it is to keep chasing the perfect look, describing it as an addictive rush she couldn’t ignore.
