Brianna Rawlings was just 17 weeks pregnant when diagnosed with NK cell leukemia, an aggressive blood cancer rarely encountered in young adults. Initial symptoms were dismissed as pregnancy-related until her condition became dire.

Given her pregnancy, medical professionals offered the heartbreaking choice of delaying her cancer treatment or risking her son’s development. Brianna chose to prioritize giving life to her baby.

Her son Kyden was delivered three months early after complications arose but survived for only 12 precious days before passing.
Brianna subsequently underwent experimental cancer treatments, supported by friends and family fundraising. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated, and she died at 19.
Her story has become a powerful testament to maternal love in the face of life-threatening adversity.
