Netanyahu’s Home Hit in Hezbollah Drone Strike Amid Intensifying Conflict

Israel’s offensive in southern Lebanon entered a new phase after Hezbollah launched a drone strike that damaged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea. Iranian-backed Hezbollah took full responsibility for the attack, warning that similar strikes would continue.

The Israeli military confirmed the drone was one of three launched from Lebanon, with two intercepted before reaching their targets. The drone struck and cracked a bedroom window but failed to cause further damage thanks to fortified protections.

The Israeli air campaign has targeted senior Hezbollah figures and critical infrastructure in attempts to weaken the group’s battlefield effectiveness. Yet Hezbollah’s decentralized cells and flexible tactics have allowed them to sustain operations despite heavy losses.

As both sides escalate, millions of civilians face displacement and destruction, raising fears of a protracted conflict with widespread consequences.
