Conjoined Twin Carmen Andrade Marries in Secret While Sister Lupita Explains Her Different Path

Carmen Andrade, one half of a pair of conjoined twins, recently shared that she secretly married her boyfriend Daniel McCormack in a small ceremony last October in Connecticut. Her sister Lupita was present but did not marry Daniel.

Carmen’s wedding dress was a sparkling emerald green, a bold choice she doesn’t regret. Daniel wore a dark suit with matching green accents. The couple preferred a low-key wedding with just family, partly due to Carmen’s social anxiety.

In a candid YouTube video, Carmen revealed her marriage, while Lupita explained she is single and identifies as asexual and aromantic, saying simply, “I don’t want to get married.”

The sisters described their physical connection: joined at the torso and pelvis, with separate hearts and brains. They share some organs but each experiences sensation on their own side.

Carmen met Daniel on Hinge and was upfront about her condition. They set clear boundaries, and although they aren’t sexually intimate, Daniel is understanding.

Lupita joked about not being a helpful wingwoman, often teasing the couple. Carmen felt calm and comfortable with Daniel because he didn’t focus on her being conjoined but on who she truly is.
