After breathing in the dust, Arthur was rushed to hospital but died shortly after arrival. His devastated uncle, Romaldo, shared the haunting image and heartfelt words on social media as both a tribute and a warning to others about the hazards of limestone dust.
Limestone powder contains crystalline silica that damages lungs and can cause serious diseases. While workers use protective gear around this material, the general public rarely sees it as a risk. Arthur’s family had no knowledge of this danger prior to the tragedy.
