ATV Crash Kills Girlfriend of Former College Football Standout Julian Fleming, Who Is Now Charged

Julian Fleming, a former college football star who played for both Ohio State and Penn State, has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI after a fatal ATV collision in May that killed his girlfriend Alyssa Boyd. Authorities report the crash happened when a deer darted onto the road in Columbia Township, Pennsylvania, causing Fleming to lose control.

Boyd died on the scene at age 23, while Fleming was hospitalized but survived. Court documents reveal neither wore protective equipment during the ride. Blood tests showed Fleming’s intoxication level was above the legal limit.

Fleming’s lawyer insists the accident was tragic but unavoidable, noting Fleming’s shock and trauma after the collision. The former athlete sought to transition into professional football but now faces serious legal challenges related to the incident.
