Justin Bieber Pays Off $31.5 Million Debt to Scooter Braun After New Album Release

Following the launch of his new album Swag, Justin Bieber has reportedly settled a $31.5 million debt owed to his former manager, Scooter Braun. The album, containing 21 new songs, was announced with a series of Instagram posts showcasing billboards and the tracklist.

The settlement includes $26 million as an advance for Bieber’s Justice Tour and $5.5 million in unpaid commissions. Braun’s company HYBE initially covered these expenses after the tour’s cancellation. Bieber had promised repayment but made only one payment, according to reports.

Despite the financial burden, Bieber seems relieved to be independent from Braun. A close insider told Rolling Stone that Bieber finally enjoys complete creative freedom, which helped him create his most honest and vulnerable music to date.
