The Flight Incident That Taught a Rude Passenger a Lesson

I boarded a plane after a hectic few weeks, hoping for a calm flight. But the woman in front of me threw her long hair over her seat, covering my screen. I politely asked her to move it, and she flicked it back. Ten minutes later, it was back again. I asked again, but she ignored me.

Deciding to act, I took some gum and stuck it into her hair, carefully spreading it so she wouldn’t notice right away. After a while, she reached back, felt the gum, and was shocked. When she confronted me, I told her it was a result of her disrespecting my space.

She got angry, but I stayed calm and even offered her scissors to fix it. She was embarrassed and tied her hair up, never letting it block my screen again. The rest of the flight was peaceful.

Some might say I overreacted, but when polite requests fail, sometimes a firm response is necessary. I wasn’t rude—I was clear. And I finally got the quiet I deserved.
