Kevin Bacon recently revealed a dark moment from his 1998 film Wild Things shoot. Filming a scene near a river in a mosquito-filled swamp, the crew spotted a dead body floating by.
On February 20, 1991, 20-year-old Keltie Byrne, a part-time animal trainer and marine biology student, was drowned at Canada’s Sealand of the Pacific.

Bacon explained that the crew was setting up a raft with lights when the body was detected over the walkie-talkie, pausing the shoot until authorities removed it.
The movie, a neo-noir thriller, explores betrayal and deception in an affluent Florida town. Bacon stars as the detective unraveling the mystery, alongside Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell.
