Dr. Parsa’s 2024 TikTok video showed how years of filler treatments led to clumps under the skin that were double the injected amount in size. Such accumulation can cause the face to look excessively puffy and stretched, known as “pillow face,” contradicting the intended rejuvenation.
These effects usually appear after repeated injections without enough time for previous filler to dissolve or from overcorrecting certain features. The filler weight stretches the skin, distorting facial balance.
