In turn, South Park seemed to answer by updating their Facebook profile photo with the cartoon image of Noem as she appears in the episode—complete with botox meltdown—showing the series’ usual irreverent style. This move underscores the show’s commitment to satire, regardless of political pushback.
The White House quickly weighed in, with spokesperson Taylor Rogers accusing critics of hypocrisy, stating that South Park has faced criticism from the left before, yet is now paradoxically being praised.
