Minor roles on TV and a part in The Next Karate Kid helped build her career. A tough experience on Beverly Hills, 90210 tested her resolve, but she soon landed the career-changing role in Boys Don’t Cry.
Her dedication paid off with two Oscars and praise for roles requiring deep emotional and physical commitment. Hilary also took time to care for her ill father and is active in charitable work, especially for animals and cancer research.
