Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral in Birmingham on July 30 provided a heartfelt goodbye to the rock legend. The funeral procession passed through familiar streets with family, friends, and fans paying respects.

The hearse carried a casket adorned with purple flowers forming Ozzy’s name and a purple cross on the roof, reflecting the singer’s personal connection to the color through his iconic look and music.

At the Black Sabbath Bridge bench, a spot covered with tributes, Sharon Osbourne and their children shared emotional goodbyes, with Sharon visibly emotional and comforted by her children.

Married for more than 40 years, Sharon was Ozzy’s soulmate and the love of his life. He had hoped his funeral would be a celebration, with joyful moments and even pranks, rather than sadness.

Ozzy wished his funeral to be about gratitude and seeing life’s fortune instead of dwelling on hardship. The city marked the day with music and official tributes.
