Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, affectionately called “Dede” by his family, passed away at 36 after remaining in a coma for 20 years following a car accident at the age of 15. Born in April 1990, his accident in 2005 during military studies changed everything.

Though silent and motionless, his life was marked by his father’s unwavering hope and devotion. Prince Khaled filled his son’s hospital room with photographs, lights, and prayers, creating an atmosphere of love despite the long years of uncertainty.
The community often gathered, offering prayers and support, while the prince symbolized resilience and faith. His death on July 19, 2025, was announced by his father, who expressed profound sorrow and faith in God’s will.
