Paranormal Investigator Dan Rivera Dies Suddenly on Tour with ‘Annabelle’ Doll

Dan Rivera, a respected figure in the world of paranormal investigation, died unexpectedly at the age of 54 while on tour with the notorious Annabelle doll. The heartbreaking incident took place in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, July 13, during his ‘Devils on the Run Tour’, which had been attracting large audiences.

Best known for his work on the Travel Channel’s “Most Haunted Places” and as a producer on shows like Netflix’s “28 Days Haunted,” Dan also served in the US Army. His hometown was Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Emergency responders rushed to his hotel after his performance but were unable to save him. Officials said he was found alone in his room, and no suspicious activity has been reported so far.

Dan’s family shared an emotional statement describing him as a devoted husband, proud father of four boys, and a man with tremendous strength and hope. They thanked everyone for the support during this difficult time.

The New England Society for Psychic Research confirmed Dan was their lead investigator at the time of his death and highlighted his dedication and kindness over more than a decade with the group. The exact cause of death awaits an autopsy, which could take months.

Dan Rivera leaves behind his wife Sarah and their children, with many remembering him for his passion and commitment in the paranormal field.
