Brian Mwenda Njagi, a Kenyan man nicknamed “Mike Ross” for his uncanny ability to win cases without formal legal training, has been arrested for alleged fraud. His story drew parallels to the popular TV show Suits, in which the main character practices law without a degree.
Njagi’s 26 consecutive wins brought him fame, but his legal journey hit a roadblock when he was arrested in 2023. He denies wrongdoing and is set to make his 27th court appearance as he fights the charges.
