Gerard McAliece, a 68-year-old Scottish grandad, was unable to properly kiss his wife Carol due to an extreme case of Rhinophyma causing his nose to grow massively. The condition caused his nose to swell and hang over his mouth, affecting eating, drinking, and social interactions.
At first, Gerard’s doctors did not take his worries seriously because he could still breathe perfectly. His wife advocated for specialist care, contacting Ever Clinic in Glasgow.
