Rebecca Gayheart has provided an emotional update on her family’s journey since her husband, actor Eric Dane, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The progressive disease impairs nerve function, leading to muscle paralysis, and has no cure.
Rebecca spoke of the emotional struggles the couple and their two daughters face, sharing that professional therapy support is helping them cope. “It is a tough time for all of us,” she acknowledged, describing their collective effort to adapt to the changing circumstances with dignity.
