Filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, with Affleck as executive producer, provided Lopez a therapeutic escape. “The film was the best and worst time,” she said, highlighting the contrast between professional joy and personal pain.
Lopez credited the divorce with prompting essential personal growth. “It helped me grow as a person in ways I needed,” she said. “I’m not the same woman I was a year ago.”
