Experts Clarify Body Reactions in Charlie Kirk Shooting to Dispel Conspiracy Theories

The assassination of conservative icon Charlie Kirk sparked a torrent of online theories, one focusing on his head’s unusual tilt immediately after being shot. Some observers claimed this tilt revealed the shooter’s position, asserting he stood to Kirk’s right.

Jesús Enrique Rosas, a leading body language analyst, made a careful examination of the footage, concluding that Kirk’s movement is consistent with trauma physiology. Contrary to the popular theory, the bullet most likely entered from the left or front, as the head tilted right—away from the entry side.

Rosas explained that the human nervous system reacts to sudden trauma in varied ways, with involuntary reflexes often creating counterintuitive movements. The head tilt alone is insufficient to definitively assign shooter position.

Complementing this analysis, neuropsychologist Derek Van Schaik explained the fleeting nature of Kirk’s consciousness after the injury. The rupturing of arteries in the neck led to rapid unconsciousness in less than half a second, making it impossible for Kirk to perceive or mentally process what had occurred.

Van Schaik also dismissed the theory that Kirk’s arm movements were decorticate posturing. This type of response requires specific brain injury patterns that the footage and injury details do not support.

This scientific perspective counters popular misinformation, helping clarify the physical realities behind Kirk’s death.

Law enforcement continues probing the case with forensic evidence and witness testimony forming the basis for a credible conclusion. Meanwhile, experts advise caution in interpreting trauma-induced physical responses.
