A potentially deadly situation unfolded at Hersheypark when a young boy was seen walking precariously along a monorail track approximately 100 feet above the ground. Despite the monorail being closed and access restricted, the boy managed to reach the track around 5 p.m. on August 30.
Passersby appeared distressed and attempted to warn the child. One man demonstrated bravery by climbing to the roof of a nearby ice cream store, where he was able to reach and safely bring the boy down. The child was unharmed and was shortly reunited with his family.

The park appreciated the swift responses from both visitors and staff, emphasizing that they continuously work to keep guests safe. The incident highlights the importance of vigilance in crowded public spaces to prevent such dangerous situations.
